Pumori Expedition
Mount Pumori is one of the premier 7,000M peaks in the Everest region of Nepal.
It is ideal for those looking to pursue the 8000m peaks, or a fantastic climb
in its own right. The route follows the Southeast buttress before it traverses
to the East Ridge for the remainder of the ascent.
Requiring excellent physical endurance, Mount Pumori offers sections of wild
exposure, views of Lhotse and Everest, with technical difficulty worthy
of any Himalayan alpinist. Mount Pumori is a serious expedition peak designed
only for experienced climbers.
Days Description
1 Arrival Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel.Expedition Oxygen
2 Kathmandu.
3 Kathmandu.
4 Transfer to the airport, fly to Lukla (2800m) and trek to Phakding (2640m).
Overnight in lodge.
5 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446 m). Overnight in lodge.
6 Trek to Khumjung (3790m). Overnight in lodge.
7 Khumjung for acclimatization and changing of porters and yaks.
8 Trek to Tengboche Monastery, 3867m with its famous Manirimdu Festival. Overnight
in tented camp..
9 Trek to Dingboche (4347m). Overnight in lodge.
10 Trek to Lobuche (4900m). Overnight a in lodge.
11 Lobuche, acclimatization day.
12 Pumori Base Camp.
13-28 Climbing Period Mt. Pumori.
29 Trek to Pangboche. Overnight in lodge.
30 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in lodge.
31 Trek to Phakding. Overnight in lodge.
32 Trek to Lukla. Overnight in lodge.
33 Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
